How does it work?
How does it work?
We will take a digital scan of your mouth to create bespoke trays that fit the shape and contours of your mouth and teeth. Whitening gel is placed into these trays, which are then inserted into your mouth, fitted around your teeth.
The treatment lasts 2-4 weeks and is first done by your dentist at our Chichester practice. After the initial visit, we will provide you with a mouthguard so that you can apply the whitening gel and whiten your teeth in the comfort of your own home. We recommend having the gel on your teeth for at least 30 minutes, and sometimes overnight.
Alternatively, we can also provide a whitening treatment in a shorter amount of time that occurs in just a single visit with us!

Our teeth whitening success stories
The Problem
Fergus came to us with a problem regarding natural dark brown and extreme white mottling of his teeth, which was affecting his smile.
The Solution
We carried out a staged approach with Fergus. Initially we carried out micro abrasion. Once this settled we carried out tooth whitening. Once this settled we carried out a simple camouflage treatment to settle down the remaining extreme white patches. No fillings were carried out, this was a very minimally invasive treatment. Years later, the wonderful true whiteness of his teeth still shines out when he smiles. A lovely broad smile now too!

The problem
Amy presented with teeth which had been recently straightened. However, certain gaps were too big to be closed and also the shapes were too rounded where they had chipped or been worn over the years. She wished to replicate some of the bright white marks on her teeth.
The solution
Amy carried out a course of tooth whitening with us to bring them up a shade or two. Once the new shade had settled and her teeth were stable, we used composite bonding (white filling material) to restore edges and tips of her teeth to the shape she preferred.
