Ensuring your complete care and efficient treatment, our clinicians are supported by a dedicated team of Dental Nurses and Receptionists. Our team work to ensure you are well informed and will ensure your appointments are arranged as efficiently as possible.
The practice is registered with the Care Quality Commission and subject to regular inspections to ensure compliance with accepted standards of dental care. All our clinicians adhere to the rules governing the profession under strict guidance from the General Dental Council “Standards for Dental Professionals”.
Roger-James represents the 3rd generation of dentists at Market House and continues the work of his father’s 40 years of care.
Roger graduated from King’s College, London and has been working in general dentistry for 19 years. One of his greatest pleasures is restoring mouths which have run into difficulty over the years and seeing the transformation in patient confidence, health and vibrancy. Having been mentored by previous skilled and caring dentists at the practice and consultant specialists, he spends much of his time carrying out complex restorative cases. Arriving at creative solutions with the patient to optimise their oral health for their lifestyle and stage of life.
A member of the British Society of Occlusal Studies and Association of Dental Implantology, he is keen to achieve harmonised oral health. A member of the Society for Advancement of Anaesthesia in Dentistry allows him to carry out sedation for nervous patients.
Umbreen has a very thoughtful approach to dentistry and aims to work with her patients, involving them in every step of the decision making process. Umbreen believes the most important aspect is working out what the patient's concerns and wishes are and working together to achieve this.
Umbreen qualified from Guy's, King's and St Thomas', University of London in 2008. Having completed her vocational training, she worked as a Senior House Officer in the Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and Restorative Dentistry Department of Morriston Hospital, Swansea, where she further developed her oral surgery and restorative skills.
In 2011 Umbreen completed a post-graduate qualification, the MJDF, awarded by the Royal College of Surgeons of England. Later, Umbreen went on to work in General Practice in the South East of England before embarking on a four year specialist training programme in 2014. She completed the programme of Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics, at King's College London. Umbreen was subsequently awarded the MClinDent in Prosthodontics and MPros (Membership in Prosthodontics), the highest formal qualification available for the Prosthodontics speciality by the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2019. She is also formally recognised by the General Dental Council, as a specialist in Prosthodontics.
Umbreen is passionate about providing the highest quality of care for her patients and strives to be at the forefront of her profession through continued professional development. She accepts referrals for:

Laurence qualified from Dundee University in 1981 and has a special interest in occlusion and Temporomandibular Disorders.
Laurence is interested in all aspects of dentistry and has a particular interest and skill in treating Temporal Mandibular Disorders and the way the teeth relate to headaches, neck aches and tooth ache.
Laurence started his interest in occlusion when he heard Dr Niles Guichet talk in 1989 and then followed a structured 3 year training programme run by IPSO and taught by Dr Bill Comcowich, Dr John Bassett and Dr Peter Nissler. He has maintained an interest in occlusion and how it is important in all facets of dentistry. He treats patients with TMD and those who suffer from chronic headaches and neck aches.
Laurence lectures on occlusion and advanced dentistry both here and abroad and is currently the Director of Education for the British Society for Occlusal Studies (BSOS).

Bronya is also a Dental Therapist and gained her degree in Dental Hygiene and
Dental Therapy at Birmingham University in 2016.
Following her degree, she participated in the VT Dental Therapy scheme, gaining extensive experience in all aspects of Dental Therapy. She was awarded the Peter Lowndes prize for excellence in Dental Therapy.
She is particularly skilled at helping anxious and paediatric patients.
Bronya is also happy to offer hygiene treatments to patients who are not registered with our dentists.
Maaike graduated from the University of Portsmouth in Dental Hygiene and Dental Therapy in 2017. Following her degree, she completed her Foundation Training year in Dental Therapy treating dentally phobic patients, as well as individuals with special needs.
Maaike regularly attends continuing professional educational courses and is always looking for ways to improve her skills. She has a gentle manner and tries to make her patients feel as comfortable as possible.
