Once prepared to shape, a digital scan is sent to our laboratory for the crown be custom made for you. They may be made of porcelain or gold. Sometimes, if a tooth has lost a significant amount of tooth structure, we can still restore it, using a post before fitting the crown. These are also custom made for you, from either white carbon materials, or gold. They are hidden beneath the crown structure and cannot be seen.
