Reopening Letter to our Patients 5th June; Surgery Operation post Covid-19 Lockdown
To our Patients at Market House,
We trust you are well and still staying safe.
We are very pleased to confirm that, following the announcement from the Government and Chief Dental Officer last week, the practice will re-open on Monday 15th June.
In this challenging environment, our initial scope of practice will be quite limited. As part of a phased return, we will be prioritising patients who have contacted us over this lockdown period in need of urgent care. Of course each and every one of our patients are important to us and we very much look forward to seeing you all as soon as possible!
We have always employed stringent safety and sanitation procedures at Market House, ensuring the safety of our patients and team. Since closing our doors in March we have been busy researching and investing in various new technologies and procuring PPE in anticipation. We have also carefully designed new protocols for patient and staff safety.
If you would like to know more about the safety measures we have been implementing, please refer to our website page https://markethousesurgery.co.uk/market-house-covid-19-gold-standard-protection/
We ask for your patience with us during this transition phase. Initially there may be reduced reception opening times. An email, text or written letter will still be our preferred method of communication.
In the meantime of course, if you have a low grade or brewing discomfort, please email us at reception@markethousesurgery.co.uk. If you have more urgent pain, please contact Roger Scholes on 01243 537310.
With these clinical challenges to overcome, in the short-term, we expect to be able to work at around 30-50% of our normal capacity. However as we can increase our flow of patients, we aim to be back to providing a more comprehensive service and resume routine care. From July, we hope to start seeing patients who had their appointments cancelled during lockdown.
If you have any questions or concerns our team would be more than happy to answer them. In the meantime thank you for your patience and understanding.
We look forward to warmly welcoming you back in due course.
Yours sincerely
Roger J Scholes
