so much pain over Christmas ending in A&E desperate for a dentist due to my abscess that infected through to my sinus. My regular dentist could not extract my tooth however referred me here. There are no words to say how impressed I am and so very grateful to Roger James that rushed me as soon as possible to his colleague Dr murray, that very day. I am a very nervous person when my teeth are involved, and having a large extraction especially very very worrying. My experience on Wednesday was utterly incredible. I did not feel a thing, and I felt Dr murray was such a perfectionist with making sure ALL the Infection was gone, I cannot tell you all how relieved I felt. I have booked my next appointment for Roger to discuss my future plans. My way forward is an implant and I trust this practice implicitly. Thank you all for making me feel safe and most of all pain free.

Today, I visited Market House Surgery for the first time, and My Murray for the second, the first when he practiced in Rustington. I would like to thank all the team for their friendliness and professionalism, and, in particular, Mr Murray. I needed a further extraction and was dismayed when my dentist advised he had moved, having had, for the first time in my life, a completely painless extraction some two years ago. She kindly said that if he was on their list for referrals, then she would refer me. Fortunately for me he was, and today was a further masterclass in his art with a second pain free treatment, Mr Murray, Sir, you are a true professional in every sense, and a guy at the very top of your game. May I thoroughly commend your services to all, and I thank you and your team sincerely. John Follows

Have been with this practice for many years and have always received the best care to keep my ageing gnashers in tip top condition!!!! The ground crew are always friendly and efficient, even more so now with the CoVid19 restrictions. Roger is very thorough, spends a great deal of time with inspections and explains any treatment required with the aid of x-rays and photos. I have previously and recently had a lot of work done and have received excellent care and service. No more nerves, recline the chair, request your favourite music and relax in the knowledge you will leave feeling a lot better!!! Top marks all round to everyone at Market House.

A very professional, friendly and efficient dental practice. Roger Scholes and his staff provide an excellent service. I cannot fault the attention to detail throughout my two implant procedures which were not always straightforward. I have no hesitation in recommending Market House Dental Practice.

Roger Scholes has done some exceptional work. I can now chew on both sides without discomfort for the first time since a teenager and can smile without self-consciousness. Roger takes great care in thinking through the most appropriate treatment and explaining options. He is supported by a most helpful and friendly team. I can thoroughly recommend Market House Dental Practice

I cannot recommend this dentist practice enough. I was really quite apprehensive about the course of treatment that was being carried out, but Roger Scholes and his colleagues made me feel completely at ease the whole time. There were plenty of procedures put in place to deal with the “new normal” and I am so happy with the results of the treatment!

Our client success stories

The problem

13 year-old Lauren had been recommended by the hospital to have an unidentified mass surgically removed from her upper left molar region. A traditional 2D imaging modality had been used to come to this decision. We contacted Lauren’s family to ask if they would like us to carry out a digital CBCT scan of Lauren’s mouth; this would provide a clearer image to better understand what the mass consisted of, and possibly save a healthy tooth or teeth which otherwise may have been removed.

The solution

Lauren came to us for the CBCT scan, which immediately indicated there were three healthy molars there, ready to come through as normal, and were simply taking their time. We recommended the family delay the planned surgery and wait a little longer, and as we had predicted, within 6 months a very healthy upper 2nd molar tooth came through. With no surgery and no loss of any teeth, Lauren and her family were delighted with the outcome.

The Problem

This case study focuses on a patient who is currently undergoing tooth whitening treatment. The patient’s goal is to achieve a whiter and brighter smile. In this case, we discussed the initial stages of the treatment, which included tooth whitening.

The Solution

The teeth have now been whitened and once they have stabilised we will replace the old white fillings to match the new tooth shade.

Before
After

The problem

Dennis came to the surgery and presented with a tooth which was too decayed to restore. This tooth was situated near the front of his mouth and his other teeth were healthy. He did not want a removable solution, he wanted it fixed and to feel like one of his own natural teeth.

The solution

Dennis preferred the idea of a fixed new tooth, and we agreed a dental implant would be the best option.

Before
After

The problem

Amy presented with teeth which had been recently straightened. However, certain gaps were too big to be closed and also the shapes were too rounded where they had chipped or been worn over the years. She wished to replicate some of the bright white marks on her teeth.

The solution

Amy carried out a course of tooth whitening with us to bring them up a shade or two. Once the new shade had settled and her teeth were stable, we used composite bonding (white filling material) to restore edges and tips of her teeth to the shape she preferred.

Before
After

The problem

Janet presented with severe gum disease, chronic pain, a lower denture which was very painful and an upper denture that was very loose-fitting. We walked Janet through a variety of options with regards how best to attend to her oral situation.

The solution

Janet’s choice of restoration was a new upper denture, retained with the teeth she naturally had. This was beautifully secure and restored her confidence to smile broadly. For her lower teeth, she chose to have a complete new lower denture, retained by two dental implants. These implants now hold her lower denture securely in position.
