05/01/21January Lockdown Update: We are Open!
Following the latest Covid-19 January lockdown update on 4th January 2021, we want to inform you that Market House will remain open as usual and we will be carrying out all treatments as planned.
We do our best to keep our staff and patients safe at Market House, but will keep a daily eye on infection rates and advise if we feel that vulnerable patients can or should postpone any non-essential appointments.
Our current PPE and strict health and safety measures have worked very well thus far and we thank the team for running the practice as smoothly as possible throughout the current situation.
As a reminder, we have transformed the building to be a minimum-contact environment. All patients will be triaged by a phone or video consultation and upon arrival for the appointment will be pre-screened for Covid-19 and then go straight into the treatment room to minimise the use of the waiting room.
We have sanitisation areas throughout the building, clear screens at reception and each treatment room is deep cleaned in between patients. Read more about our Covid-19 health and safety measures.
Our PPE fees remain unchanged. For your reference, as a practice we increased our PPE expenses over 1,300%. Our enhanced PPE and stringent procedures, ie. fallow period and air purification means we have had to introduce a nominal fee for patients.
This extra PPE fee does not profit the business, but rather allows us to stay in operation by complying with extra safety measures and new government regulations. As a practice, we are committed to keeping our costs as a minimum and hope that this is a temporary measure. If necessary, we will reduce our PPE costs as the government requirement for PPE lessens or becomes no longer needed.
We would also like to let our patients know that we are now offering Denplan Essentials. Denplan payment plans take a preventative approach to dental care and allow you to budget for treatment plans that are personally tailored to you and your mouth health. For more information, please visit our Denplan page.
Our Cancellation Policy remains the same and we ask that you give us at least 72 hours’ notice if possible, so that we can offer the appointment to another patient. If your appointment is cancelled with less than 72 hours’ notice, there will be a fee.
We would like to thank you for your support at this time and look forward to welcoming you into the practice for your next appointment.
Stay positive, don’t forget to floss and please contact us if you have any questions or concerns whatsoever, by calling reception at 01243 536821 or emailing email@example.com
